Child abuse in the news

Lately there has been a lot of news about children being abused in some way shape or form. The one instance of this that has really made me want to talk about htis was, 2 spanish women in the USA took a little girl between the ages of 3 and 6, into a car wash and sprayed her with the pressure washer that your supposed to use on your car. Those things can literally take the skin off your body and that is an adult now think of what it could have done to a small child. What the heck were these women thinking? It makes me sick to think that people that abuse their kids have the right to keep their children.

There was another incident where a young girl was carried out of school because she was drunk. Her mother left a bottle of beer within her reach and when her mother caught her she sent the child to school. My first instinct as a parent would be to take the child to the freakin hospital but then again I would NEVER leave booze laying around where my kids can get to it.I seriously hope this woman is investigated for this. I am thinkin this woman must have a drinking problem if she lease alcohol out in the open in the early mornings. geepers!!

It's all just plain disgusting and something needs to be done. But what can we do? We can educate everyone on HOW to be the best parent you can be and Support them in all they do. I myself took a parenting course after I had my first child because I was so overwhelmed with it all. Going from being me to being a single mother was hard but I learned how to be the best parent I can and I would never hurt my kids the way the parents on the news have been.
