Vote for the 2008 Great American Seafood Cook-Off

While looking for free contests online I came across a site about recipes with a contest to enter to win a trip to New Orleans, which I can’t enter because I am not from the US. Of the top five recipes I think my favorite would be the Shrimp and Andouille Cassoulet. As far as I can remember I have never tried this but would love to as I love shrimp, well actually I love most seafood. Yum! Seafood is great for people trying to manage their weight because it is low in fat (depending on how it is cooked). Places like the coast of British Columbia, seafood is readily available because the small towns usually revolve around catching seafood. Everything from shrimp to salmon and it is usually a little but cheaper to buy because it is so much more readily available in that area.

I may even try to make it just to see. If I try it out, I may take the beer out of it since I am not one for beer in my food LOL. This recipe was invented by Chef Brian Landry from
Louisiana and I think it looks wonderful so I would have given my vote to him. I think my readers should check out this great site if they want new meal ideas. They have so many different food ideas and it just might give you your next party favorite. The five finalists include Chef Brian Landry, Chef Paul Anders, Chef Tafari Campbell, Chef John Currence, and Chef Mark Holley. All of these Chefs dishes look great and I think that everyone should check out the five finalists of the 2008 Great American Seafood cook off and vote for one of them today!
